Certaines fois rangée, d’autres pas, la table peut être perçue comme un immense capharnaüm et s’avérer difficile à déchiffrer pour le public. Mais cette profusion d’informations est à la fois la manière dont elle a été pensée, son essence.

FREE SPACE

The table is our common space. We put on it working elements, and also objects, texts related to Play/Urban.
Next to the table is the wall, where we print and enlarge more in a conceptual way some of the elements which are on the table.

In the creative research process in which we are, the table becomes really an interaction space. We work on it, we put objects on it, but also notes, texts, and so on. Ou computers are on the table, all the documents of our walks, projects at some point are visible on it.
As such a project is not only about theory, the table becomes the interaction space between theory and practice.
Sometimes it’s a mess, sometimes it’s more organized. Sometimes it is just documentation of a moment of work, sometimes it is more of an organized process.
But in a way it is a documentation of what is Play/Urban in all the minds and projections of the participants, a mind mapping by accumulation of objects, texts, by documenting moments, the way we use it… It creates an informal collective and ongoing cartography of what we project on this Play/Urban process.
