Description : Planet Joburg est un film réalisé à Johannesbourg dans le cadre
de Play-Urban. Ce film est née du désir d’utiliser le cinéma comme outils d’action dans la réalité. Ces actions en flux tendu on été le moteur tant de l’expérimentation et de l’exploration urbaine que des rencontres et des échanges.
Nous avons collaborés avec le Jazzband Planet Lindela de Soweto pour agir dans la ville.
La musique comme acte, véritable porte d’entrée de la fiction dans la réalité, nous a permis de pointer paradoxes et tensions qui sont le ciment de cette mégalopole.

We are working all three to help each other into our different action wishes.
We shoot cinematic scenes in the context of the city – Johannesburg – from the last three weeks.
Trying to make appear paradoxes playing with them.
Music, actions and strong images are leitmotiv.
We are also working in collaboration with the jazz band Planet Lindela, to shoot videos of them playing music to the streets.
This way; their music can form a narrative which will, in turn, form a Film.
Unusual places and spaces for a musical Perfomance like old buildings, parking lots and the public spaces are the environments we are interested in for shooting.
In parallel and as the encounter goes, another proposition:
Humans make the city and live there together in a delimited space
The other is a neighbour more or less close
My question is simple:
