Description (medium, genre, concept, questions, critics…) : Cela commence par un nouveau protocole Play>Urban : nous décidons d’une part de se donner plus de temps, une demi journée, puis de découper un plan de Strasbourg en carrés égaux en suivant un cadrillage existant. Puis nous tirons au hasard une aire d’exploration, en privilégiant les périphéries plutôt que le centre.

Chaque groupe se met ensuite en chemin vers le quartier figurant sur son morceau de carte. Durant cette marche nous repérons des éléments du contexte qui seront choisis pour adresser à un autre groupe des consignes d’actions en reprenant alors une règle déjà utilisée la veille lors d’une expérimentation plus courte. Après une heure trente, nous recevons par SMS les trois informations envoyée par un autre groupe et nous envoyons trois informations à un groupe. Ces informations (concept, processus, restitution), doivent nourrir, détourner ou structurer le travail de chaque groupe. Elles ne sont pas obligatoires mais la règle est de les prendre en considération et de jouer avec.

After a drift in a peripheric area, mix of abandonned place and new constructions in building, we collected several objets lying on the floor, which two big manufactured pieces of wood, elements of industrial packaging. We began to play with them as accesoires (simulation of crucifixion, headrest…) then we tested with them the sound resonance of a tunnel under the highway. It was a long moment of sound improvisation, walking slowly in the tunnel and beating the concret floor with the piece of wood.

After what we met a man on the way bringing back his daughter to his ex-wife’s house. He stay a long moment with us, discuting about what we are doing there. At the end we tested a second time the tunnel resonance with him.
